Hey All,
A little advice is required. I currently have a UniChip D15 running on the 02 STi and I'm thinking about pulling it out and re-flashing the standard
ecu with VERSO.
What I want to know is:
1. Is it really worth me doing this (Unichip to VERSO)?
2. Will I will gain much from it?
The reason I'm considering doing it is all the info I read about Unichip being an inteceptor unit. Even though it tricks the standard
ecu, the standard
ecu can still get around it and alter ignition timing, etc. This alters the power output and in turn the driveability of the car as well.
I have also heard people saying it wipes out much resolution from the standard
ecu...what does this mean?
