I've had my Fuel Pump done, and there has been no issue with that.

Someone can clear this up as i'm not 100% sure, but the Brandt has a battery backup .. For some it lasts a few hours, other days ..

You should be able to disconnect it for 10 mins without any drama's though .. Otherwise Subaru would be dealing with these all day every day (Maybe they do!?)
