Link can be tuned (not sure which version...gurus might help) using the MAP sensor - mainfold pressure sensor. AFM measures the ammount of air coming in, then the ecu supplies enough fuel/timing to keep everything happy. MAP sensor which your car already has, can do the same job (measuring air) and its far more reliable then the AFM. MAP sensors can be used if u install Link/Autronic/Motec - Z32 AFM would be useful if you went for PowerFC - dont worry im a noob too, i just waste 1/2 of my work time sitting here
