Ok,
Just thought i would ask before i started doing anything, I am looking at increasing my cars power a little bit, not much but just to the same as a sti.
Im looking for reliability, and to be able to take it out on the track on a 40deg day and it to be ok.
So what i was thinking was changing my
ecu and turbo to one out of a v5/6 sti.
So what problems am i going to come across? I have heard that the crank and cam angle sensor wiring is reversed, and it has a
IAT sensor that i would have to wire in as well.
is there any other major differences between the engines, apart from the ports and sodium filled valves, possibly cams?
Would i see a benefit from changing the intake cams to match or would it run ok with the stock wrx cams?
