Yep, exact same noise..

Here's a bit more info from Exedy.. I might need to take it up with my clutch installer now.

A few people off the MRT forums have reported that lubricating the spigots have solved the issue. Also a few people off nasioc have said exactly the same thing regarding the exedy range of clutches.


What would cause noise when engaging the clutch?


Lightly depress the clutch pedal and if you hear a grinding or squealing noise you may have a concern with your release bearing or your clutch assembly.

Check Release bearing

Check clutch assembly for wear. Replace as necessary.

If the noise is evident when engaging the clutch, the most probable cause will be a faulty or incorrectly lubricated spigot bush/bearing
