I considered replacing just cracked the end tank and got quoted ~$200 odd, but my rad was the original factory item
afaik, car is 8.5 years old now and if I kept the old rad... there could be problems later down the track anyway, corrosion, other cracks etc. you just never know. I've been burned before by this fucking car hahahaha
I don't want to sound like a pessimist, and I certainly wouldn't wish it upon anyone...but this is just the way I think because me'car is my daily and I do ~800km of driving every week for work. I was more concerned about long term reliability and by getting a whole new radiator dropped in I know that everything is in the same new condition.
