On this topic kind of. How would I be best to go about adding my name to the title deed of my house?
Situation is my wife built the place before I met her. When we got together I sold my house and have paid most of the mortgage off. We have since married and house is still in her maiden name.
When I split with my ex I had her name removed from the deed free as it was part of a divorce. I assume adding my name to this deed would be the same deal?
I think last time I had to deal with the dept of revenue? Was a little while ago.
