Sounds like boost cut - Is it cuttin out just as the CEL comes on (Yes, this is Check Engine Light) .. If this is the case i'd be looking very hard around your turbo, in particular the wastegate lines to ensure the wastegate is opening bleed excess boost.

This same thing happened to me - Easy fix if its the same with you. From memory, the boost cut CEL disappears after 5 engine restarts.

When this was happening to me, turned out that my TMIC was rubbing againt one of the wastegate lines and cut it. Equalled a shitload of boost!
