Pretty hard to 'break' a regulator all it is is:

a diaphram,
a spring
and a fixed return orrifice.....Not a lot to go wrong really.......

Yes, it should be in the return line after the injectors....... unless someone has set up a fixed orrifice return from the rails or it's a 3 port regulator with no return from the rails (bad mkay!).


Fluctuating pressure maybe because the reg has been unwound all the way and is not trying to hold a high enough pressure ?
