Default Clunk Clunk Clunk

Hi all,

So I have a clunking coming from my drivetrain. It feels like its coming from the rear of the car, in the diff, tailshaft or driveshaft area.

It doesn't happen all the time either.. basically it doesn't do it unless the car has been driving for a while, or its been given a bit of a belt.

To describe the noise:

- It starts off sounding like a light infrequent knocking and feels like something is "loose" in the drivetrain and only rears its head when I'm on part throttle or transitioning between off and on throttle (right at that point in the middle between off and on throttle).
- At this point it's intermittent too, not speed dependent.
- Then after a bit it'll start doing it dependent on speed.. clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk. As you go faster or slower, the clunking increases or decreases with speed.
- If I leave the car sit for a while and drive it again, it doesn't do it.

I'm going to put the car up on ramps tonight and have a look if anything is loose, but any ideas as to where I should start looking?

Cheers
