Just bought myself an 06 STi. Many thanks to Justin from the forum

Car goes great but having serious noise issues with the brakes. The pads all seem ok meat wise (bearing in mind I'm no expert) so Im thinking the pad/rotor setup maybe the culprit. This is what is currently installed:

-DBA 5000 series rotors front
-DBA 4000 series rotors rear
-QFM A1RM pads front and rear
-HEL braided brake lines
-Quantum Motor Sports brake duct bracket

Thoughts? The noise really is very loud especially under light braking and I doubt this is normal even for a semi-track type pad...

I ran Bendix Ultimates on my version 6 STi and these worked well apart from a bit of dust. Might be as simple as swapping them out for a new set of these.
