So, the situation is that I have a 6 year old WRX which was purchased from a good subaru dealership along with an AHG premium warranty which seems to cover just about everything possible against failure.

The downside is that servicing has to be done every 6 months (I work FIFO so hardly drive it in that time!) to keep the warranty valid, and it is starting to get expensive.

Is it worth ditching the warranty in favour of a cheaper service at a Subaru Specialist (eg STechnik)?
