I would personally go for a 3 port and let the
ecu control the boost.
HKS EVC is just a 3 port with it's own controller instead of your
ecu controlling it. Great unit and allows some good functions if it is wired up fully (throttle position for boost, different maps etc)... But as for will you notice a difference, doubt it.
