That's one of the reasons why Motorsport has been pushed further and further away from metro areas.
Collie, Harvey, York and even Nannup all have strong opponents to Motorsport in their towns. Some have succeeded in having the events moved or cancelled all together.
I struggle to understand why there is such opposition to a well organised, once a year event in an area that could well provide a great boost to the local economy?
