Bang for bucks this is the way to go. VF34/35/23/24/28 new or secondhand, decent exhaust, fuel pump and plug in a V5/6 ECU and swap the wiring to suit. No need to tune anything or modify anything excessively.

^^^ These turbos all bolt on. And I mean everything bolts straight on, not like a lot of TD based E-Bay turbos that have imperial threads, water pipes the wrong side or not supplied, bigger inlets, hit the engine, don't come with a drain tube etc.
