As the others have said, No the car won't start as the ECU stores the transponder chip codes.

Swapping to a different ecu (of the same model) will have the stored codes from the other vehicles keys - therefore your keys are seen as foreign & the ecu remains shutdown.

There is no way to bypass it with a factory ecu.
