Yes, what size rims are you running?

Propitiatory pads in Kido brakes only or do other manufacturers make pads for them?
There are lots of pad manufacturers, the pads are the same as AP Racing use. I would be confident that AP Racing and Ferodo make pads for both. Did you know that AP Racing is owned by Brembo?

I have just checked with the factory and been told KiDo is not a copy of AP Racing, or Alcon but they use the same pad design as AP Racing.

I agree, I would love to have a direct comparison between Brembo 4 pots (STI) the Brembo 6 pots (S206), stock WRX and a couple of sets of KiDo's with similar rotor sizes to the 2 Brembo types. The problem is that someone will always pick holes in a test. The pads were different, they were not run in the same way, the wheels gave better ventilation on one car, they had different tyre with better/not so good grip, the ABS was an issue ETC.

Then there is the question of what to test. The pedal pressure, the stopping distance, from how fast, how many times, the "feel" etc.

Having said that I still would love to see an independent test with video if possible.

I don't have a lot of experience with before and after testing of cars, but I can say that (as you would expect) going from stock MY09 Forester (same as MY08+ WRX) brakes to the 356x32 8 pots made a HUGE difference, and on a VE Commodore it was more than huge. The VE has the worse stock brakes I can remember driving, except maybe the EH (1964) I had once, with 4 wheel drums.
