Tips on Reading Gauges: Oil Pressure Gauges

Because Fiat & Alfa are so reliable, I'm going to apply their oil pressure gauge logic to my Betty.

You also failed to read the disclaimer at the bottom of the article that says:
"*Overseas customers please note that our entire website is based on US-spec cars, as sold before the manufacturer left the US market: up to 1985 (Fiat/Lancia) and 1995 (Alfa Romeo)"

Haha!

Sorry PMH: last post about oil pressure - I promise!

Oil temp gauge to show heat load and an idiot light for pressure are best.

That fiat article is...well..... 2/3rds wives tales......

Tell me again how it would read for 'Worn out or diluted' oil?

I also love this pearl of wisdom "Worn Engine Bearings - (see above). A further indication can be a heavy knocking under engine load (main bearings) or a lighter knocking (connecting rod bearings)."

Awesome! so your gauge tells you visually what your ears have already told you audibly? ----->> DOk DOK DOk......lol.
