I'm kind of surprised that you can do it without a cage in the car, some of the service roads get pretty high speeds with trees lining the road? Or am I thinking of something else?

Don't get me wrong, great event!!
What's the difference between this and a barbs track day?.

Hit a wall at barbagallo and you'll rearrange your car no issues. Hit a sand trap sideways and you'll roll the car.

If you don't wanna hit stuff stay off the loud pedal and leave a lot more in reserve.
No one forces anyone to go 10/10ths, just like at a barbs track day.
