Two very different companies, two very different products, and nothing to do with one another.
Nothing wrong with the product, I would use STD standard without hesitation if I had to. Just not same products, different companies from different countries with different technologies.
It's like saying K&W is the same company as Ohlins, or GReddy is same as Tomei, Nestlé is Colgate, etc....no its not.
