Hey Patch, I really appreciate this how-to as my 02 wrx has been experiencing this exact issue.
One question I do have is how has the araldite held up?
I've rang the sellys info line & the tech guy wasn't positive this type of fix would hold up over the long term as the product isn't designed for vibration.
