I own a Version 6 STi with a 3"
TBE, Walbro fuel pump and an Autronics PCM. Its been dyno tuned for 155awkw at Maximum Motorsport.
Im just wondering, with all the heat lately i have really noticed the extra lag brought on by the summer heat. Is it worth upgrading the stock intercooler for a later model. I have been told fitting the larger MY10 intercooler is a cheap option, or is it worth forking out for a process west cooler. Im not too interested in a front mount as I want to retain the stock VF28.
Will it decrease intake temps and net me any power. Im sorry, my turbocharged experience is limited.
