It may have been an insurance write off but that means it was simply non-economical to repair (cost-wise for insurance) & someone has bought it to rebuild it after the insurance paid it out.
It's not a rebirth - it's registered with the original vin number & it REV's checks as such.
Any GC8 with a jap cluster is going to display the wrong KM - I don't hide the KM with mine.
Just saying.
