Hi Everyone,
Just a question for the guys with oil temperature gauges. Generally speaking how long does it take for your oil to get up to normal operating temperature when the car has been sitting overnight? I was hoping someone could help with how long it take at idle and how long it take when driven say under 2500rpm?

Also for the guys with race cars, when you track your car and if you haven't driven it there, you do a warm up lap just before the race. Is this warm up lap sufficient for the oil to get up to normal operating temperature before going hard?
