Interesting....so if the car has been sitting overnight 5-10 minutes after startup it's safe to bring her on boost. It's something that's been a grey area with me as I don't have a temperature gauge as yet. I usually idle the car for about 3-5 minutes then drive under 2500rpm in various gears (1-4) for about 3km and then bring her on boost. A few people say that idling the car isn't the best way to warm the oil and engine up, however I guess in certain circumstances (at the track) it's the only way.
