I pay road tax
I pay Full comprehensive insurance
I have vehicles that comply (just barely ) with ADR's. He'll half this forum dont have vehicles that comply with ALL ADR's.

I cycle and do agree that using the road when there is a cycle path is just stupid. Its not even in the intrest of the motorists. It should be in the intrest of the cyclist trying to preserve his life. God knows motorists are retarded enough as it is. Its a legal right of cyclists to ride 2 abrest. Its arrogant to ride 2 abrest when there are 2 of you, agreed but unfortunatley its a legal right.

I dont spose you have heard of a Road/Trail bike?

"On your Deadly Treadly?"
"Yeah brother, got done for bald tires and riding on rims 3" bigger then stock"

unortunately there is no reference there to cycle ways but i would have thought it was same same
Shame roads with bicycle lanes are often taken up by car drivers.

Last time i checked its a solid white line which means a vehicle cannot cross it.

I'm sure if there was a bike in the bicycle lane the cars around would keep off it.

the thing that shits me the most about bikes on the road is you spend 10 mins trying to pass them and then the next set of light they come past you and run the red light. then you spend the next 10mins trying to pass again. If they use the road they should stick to all the road rules and line up with all the other traffic AND PAY TO BE ON THE ROAD.

rant over.
You really are stupid. 99% of cyclists obey road rules and dont run reds. Fags like you in your puss rex that kill people, "oh he was making me 1km/h slower."

As another cyclist and driver, I can see peoples point only to a certain extent. I have had this argument with people in my office for years. While there are tools on bikes who give law/rule abiding cyclists a bad name, the exact same can be said for drivers and the classic 'hoon' tag. I have been yelled at, had things thrown at me, and even seen my friends pushed off while out riding, and these are all instances when we were riding along safely and minding our own business. I am sure every cyclist will have similar stories to tell as well.

What I believe to be the basic rule of thumb on the road is that if there is 2 lanes in one direction, cyclists can go 2 abreast if the roads are quiet, otherwise stay single file. If there is a good quality path, then it should definitely be used.

Unfortunately what seems to occur, is that people think that they own the section of road surrounding their car, and no one else has permission to enter. From time to time you may be held up by a cyclist or a group, but realistically does it make that much difference to your overall travel time?

Too funny.
In a time where our health system is drained and we as tax payers have to foot the bill for fat lazy fucks who won't get off the couch because its all too hard, some narrow minded people want to charge people for keeping fit and healthy?
May your arteries clog and allow even less blood to your brain.

Good call! I ride because it takes the same amount of time as driving, is cheaper, healthier (unless wrx racecar drivers are around) and much more enjoyable.

People have to remember that the comute to work is slow. Getting angry at a bike rider doesnt make it any quicker and will only make ya upset for the rest of the day.

If ya cant beat em join em and make the road ways better for everyone. Also see how much better it is than sittin in your car!
