Angry Cyclists on the road with a bike path next it!

Nothing against cyclists, but... if there's a road, and a cycle path next to it... Why would you cycle on the road? Seriously WTF. On Mounts Bay Rd, during peak hour, the speed limit is 60 km/h which is slow enough, then both lanes have to slow down to merge to one lane to go around the cyclists. This has happened a lot. It comes to a section on Mounts Bay where, there is just a kerb separating the road to the bike path and cyclists are riding there. OMFG WTF
Why would you ride on the road??? WHY? I don't understand.

I have nothing against cyclists or anything, but it just doesn't make sense, I'm assuming that's why the council put the cycle path there for... oh well

haha, I drive on Stirling Hwy every morning and the lanes are narrow enough let alone when 2 cyclists decide to ride side by side so they can have a chat on their morning ride. I understand when the big packs get together but FFS, two of them...

Cyclists have NO right to the road as far as I am concerned.
Until they -
A) pay road tax
B) pay third party insurance
C) have vehicles that comply with strict regulations (like ADR's etc)
I will not change my mind and I openly tell people that I know have bikes that
they're morons.

When I ride my bike I prefer to ride on the footpaths. If there are pedestrians on the paths I give way to them and ride either on the road or on the grass. Having no peripheral vision and riding on the road would just be asking for an accident to happen to me.

Shits me every morning my bus has to slow down for the cyclists who ride up the middle of Barnes St, causing a pile up of cars behind the bus

Talking

Funniest thing I ever saw was a cyclist going through a red light along the Roe hwy at Tonkin hwy intersection in front of a motor cycle police officer.
Officer waited for a green light and then went after him. By the time I passed them he was writing him a ticket...
