Default Frustrated!

I basically just need to vent. I've had my rex for about 8 months now and I love it too bits but there's always something wrong with it, it's an 06 so it's not old by any standard.

I've had it in twice for overheating issues and it still has not been resolved. Driving down to Mandurah tonight I had to stop on the side of the road because the temp gauge hit the red and the whole thing was steaming up, now I have to take more time off work to try and get it fixed. Previously I took it to Melville Subaru and they keep saying it's a cracked radiator hose, but surely they can't crack 3 times within 3 months??

It's probably not a huge issue but it's extremely frustrating!

Mel don't take it to Subaru, it's been shown time and time again that they are usually useless.

Take it too one of the reputable workshops who specialize in Subaru's. Somewhere like RMS, or ASG, or MMS or whichever floats your boat!

Yeh so true, but you would think they would know what they are doing considering they sell the cars. I just came out of warrant as well so that's another frustration.

Have heard good things about all the above so will try and get it in asap, worst timing ever with the easter long weekend though haha

Yep you would think that, but being such large companies they usually cut costs my employing young guys and apprentices with only a couple of senior guys supervising.

The guys at RMS are always great, they've looked after me for the last 4-5 years. Give them a call and they might be able to squeeze you in before easter to at least check it out.

That's a very good point, I never thought of it like that!

Where is RMS?
