40kmh zone? Never seen one of those apart from school zones as it generally 50kmh in most areas that's not a main road.

Road works? But if that was the case I'd imagine the OP would have mentioned it. If it was road works, then all appropriate signage has to be in place.

Unless in the course of your driving you were faced with a 40 sign, including one in the terminating road you were travelling on prior to turning right, then the fine can't stick. Don't sweat it, you'll cop nothing in the post; as mentioned above, the camera op was probably doing a final calibration before pack-up (as it is required).

No road works, i can't remember the exact road pretty sure it started with a H, as im not local to that area, nor have i ever really driven there before. Missus wrote it down in her phone, just for my reference ect and she has all the pics on her cam. Not sweating anymore, photo's clearly show no 40 signs visible in either direction of the street until the end of said zone either side. Which, was out of eyesight from where the cam man was.
