We had the closed thread option for a while. It became such a headache having to edit and unlock threads all the time.

End of the day, the for sale rules are stickied in every section. You might not like them, but we enforce them fairly tightly.

As you both are aware, that forum is a pretty unique culture in itself, so at times we need to be cunty about things.

I was just pointing out the differences in how the two forums operate.

We are strict on our classifieds, laid back on topics while Perth WRX is the direct oppisite.

I do my best to shake the nest around here, works well for the most part.

Did others post in my for sale thread? I'm subscribed, I only got email notification about the mods posting me links to the rules and telling me off for 'bumping' my ad..

Rules are rules.. if we didn't run Antilag with an iron fist, it would turn to shit within a day. It's an extremely busy forum, a LOT busier than Perth-WRX. This place is a walk in the park to moderate in comparison.

forum supporters here can exersise more freedom in classifieds.

open threads here are scruitinised a little more as they are open to review by the public.

where antilag is a closed forum other then their vendor classifieds.

so its essentially the same rules, for what is seen by the public.
