I used to think that Asians were the only ones who would try to bend the system but I've seen otherwise.
What shits me are people (usually women) who wait until the cashier has scanned everything and run up the total before they open their handbag for their purse. Too selfish and inconsiderate for my liking. Do they think that someone is going to mug them?
This ranks up there with people who when getting to the ATM forget why they were there in the first place ... OK I stole that from the Ugly Phil show on 96FM. My hate is people who leave their purse or wallet in their bags or pocket until they get the front of the queue and the screen is showing ready. There is a whole world out there losers so get your head out of your **** and think about others!

Wow, an extra 20 seconds of your life disappear while this happens. Just a heads up - there are scum on this planet that have walked, jogged, run through checkouts and snatched purses and bags from unwary shoppers. I've seen it happen as a youngster working checkouts and my own Mother had it happen to her in Woolies a few years ago. Some stinky native squeezed past her in the checkout and relieved her of her purse.

Just because you saw it happen once makes it likely to happen every time - right? I am pointing out the exception and you are making it a rule - what common sense is there in that. So you wait patiently as someone takes their time yeah right! And what's this obsession with 20 seconds? Never mind, next time you pay the cashier stop and wait 20 seconds before you take your wallet out and whilst your waiting look at the 'patient' customers behind you.
