Telstra $59 BYO Plan... $800 worth of calls and mms, unlimited sms, 2gb data, in a 12 month contract.

That's better than my Optus plan and I pay the same amount, and I'm locked for 24 months, not 12.... God damn it, when did Telstra finally come out with some decent plans?

The plan Optus gave you sucked then... Try through a reseller.
If you're an iiNet customer for ADSL, then iiNet resell Optus network
at quite a good price.

Telstra have me locked into a 24 month contract paying $110.00 a month for 3gb and $1000.00 worth of calls... :-( Tried to barter and get them to help me as their new plans are so much better but NO I have to keep paying crackpipe amounts.

Funny that, they changed the Next-G 79 cap (increased call credit and data quota) and I walked to the nearest Telstra shop and asked if they could bump my existing plan to the new one.
I walked out after 5 minutes with more data and call credits

Also on a 24month contract.

Well keep in mind I signed up for this contract over a year ago. I would of preferred telstra, but at that point plans were ridiculous. Will be changing to telstra as soon as my contract is up

I been with them for two years, resigned contract cos they were only ones with the phone I wanted. But sinse that they have screwed up my contract and over charging me. The reception is usually alright, just a few places I get no reception.

Been with telstra for about 5 years. Pick the right plan and they are just as god if not better than anyone else. Better yet, I can make phone calls and look up porn almost anywhere in australia.
