That stretch of freeway just past Leach hwy down to just near Jandakot that is narrowed and is having work done to it.
Maybe I'm looking back at my time in Japan with rose coloured glasses, maybe it's cause I'm no civil engineer that builds infrastructure, but it seems to be taking waaaaay to long to me.
If it were being built in Japan it would be getting done 24/7 and most probably not stopping for anyone/anything until it was finished.

Frikking stretch of freeway is a nightmare in heavy traffic.

Least it getting work done. The stretch of Tonkin between Morley Drv and the Roe Hwy is a fucking whore each morning and afternoon. The peak hr traffic in Perth is getting worse, and the roads/infra just aren't up to it.

They should have planned for population expansion, as much as possible.

Multi-level parking at train stations, car pooling and more lanes are the only reasonable solutions that come to mind, but something needs to be done...SOON!!! :/
