Wow, well, from a person who's family has been in mining since way-back-when pay was crap (I mean really crap - I was epically stoked in the early 2000's that I went from $8 per hour to $12, and that's decades after my family starts in the industry), jobs were never, ever secure, which was the only reason my dad was ever home for more than a week, conditions were so bad that it was considered a shit job, but it was all done for the passion of geology, I'd just like to say thanks.

My job now is to analyse mine sites and write the reports on their environmental emissions. Anything you will ever get fed from the media will be from one of these reports, and I can tell you that most of it will be sensationalised and not any kind of representation of the emissions.

Tree hugging hippies also audit the crap out of these reports, and generally this just proves that we've erred on the side of caution, and that they think the emissions should come out lower.

Compared to everything else, it's not that bad.

Think should sell his wrx. Sell his house, sell his assets, donate the money from the above to charity, live in a treehouse in the middle of nowhere & die like a lonely hobbit.

But dont use nails or shoes to construct it.
Dont wear clothes because we all know where they came from.
