Towards scarborough yes, through doubleview they're not. I drive along it daily. There is no need whatsoever to reduce a main road like scarborough beach rd to 50km/hr. And making it one lane will only cause drivers to speed in and out of side streets in hope of avoiding the traffic. Which is not making anything safer.

Traffic lights at grand prom would be enough. People can cross the road safely there. Even so, there's islands in the middle of the road where pedestrians can safely stop. Unlike scarborough beach rd through osborne park with no islands, where it can take up to 5 minutes to cross, even then it's dangerous. Are they going to change Osborne Park to one lane as well? Much more shops there then Doubleview

They totally fucked the west coast h'way - Scarborough beach road intersection TWICE.

The first time caused twice daily 1.5km gridlock for traffic heading north on West coast between Hale rd & Scarborough bch rd lights.

The second remodel causes everyone entering the beach car parks to use Manning St & has the exit through the west coast/ Scarb bch lights down to 1 lane, with no turning lanes, banking the traffic back to the clock tower on every light change.....Well done you fucktards. your fucked up the entire area & now won't let people leave!

Pointless contacting them, tried to get a ranger out to sort out a dog that yapped its head off every night for 3 months.
Was told to download a "bark log" and record all incidents for 4 weeks.... And then the ranger would look into it..... Yeah righteo. Called the cops (sorry to waste their time), 2 hours later they warn the owner about disturbing the peace, dog has been silent ever since.
