Similar situation in my mouth right now... and just had an expensive root canal done on one of the teeth in front of them..

Just keep putting it off though, haven't had surgery or anything before and not too keen on it!

Was a GA to have them out in hospital. From walk into hospital to walk out was about 3 hours. Actual op took about 45 mins.
Well worth getting it done.
All 4 of mine were growing horizontaly. But because I was not in a rush (was 17 at the time), just went on the waiting list, had them removed a year after for free.

Same as me... these "partially ruptured" wisdom teeth that are close to nerves are actually a lot more time consuming (and thus more expensive) to pull out than even teeth that are growing horizontally. Sometimes they have to actually cut the bone and then the tooth in half or quarters to get them out without damaging nerves.

If they nick a nerve, you could up with with minor paralysis in the face. Maybe a droopy lip (face only).

Am I scaring you yet?

... I'd say the odds of paralysis would be about the same as you cleaning someone elses car in a bikini however

I think my dental history tops them all... my two front teeth were knocked out when I was 9 by someone throwing a gumnut at me! My childhood consisted of numerous visits to the dentist and endodontist for root canal and temporary caps, then I finally had the crowns done about 5 years ago. They have since cracked and I'm currently in the process of having them replaced!

On the plus side, the nerves are dead so I can't feel a thing and don't require any needles!

Comes under the "normal wear and tear" aspect of the female warranty unfortunately. Costs a fortune to fix.
