I have a Nissan 180SX, it was damaged at work by a workmate,smashed in Quarter panel ( dent the size of a Footy). I put the car is at Terrace Smash Repairs ,in Naval Base as this is who work uses,they had the car 4 weeks! I got it back today and upon looking over the work properly when I got home was horrified!.

They fixed the dent under Works insurance and when it was in there I got them to fix rust holes In the Hatch Lid plus another dent on the Damaged Panel. They said my personal work would be $700,I go there today and they want $780, I said nah I was quoted $700,in the end I get it for $700 as first agreed.

I get home and see you can still see=
1) ripples/Dents in the repaired panel.
2)Tail light that was removed put back in with Silastic!!( not the Putty).
3)Some Reason they cut 2 small sections out my Lower Front Bumper!!?,I have no fucking idea why!!? they had no reason to touch it!.
4) paint on the Rubbers around the window.

Ontop of this my Battery is dead from sitting there for 4 weeks and had to be Jumpstarted

I'm going back in there tomorrow for a rant!... DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR TO THESE ASSCLOWNS!

All those things are quite normal behaviour in the panel industry.
Prices are usually quoted Ex GST, therefore $700 easily becomes $770.
Bit of overspray on a window rubber is normal. (not saying it's right but shit happens)
Car battery should last for 4 weeks if it's in good condition.

Should always check the car thoroughly before signing off on it and taking back possession of your car, hopefully they'll fix it for you.

I had a quick chat, Paid up and jumpstarted the car and got out of there before the traffic got worse ( and it does).

Got home, went over it all and was horrified!! Why the fuck would they cut 2 small sections out of my Front Bumper Bar??,you have to see it to believe it!. I gotta get some pics of this

Dent from work,didnt just dent here,there's ripples elsewhere in the panel due to this dent,even after Panel work can still be seen.

Lord Knows How Much I can get for this thing, I stupidly,stupidly paid $14,000 for this thing about 5 years ago and put dollars into it but the paint is buggered and has 250,000km on the clock though still runs awesome/Fast and compression bringing up 160 each pot

I'll have to try get After Pics Tomorrow,I'll show the cut out sections on the Bumper. The rippling parts on the Repaired Quarter Panel I suspect? will be hard to pic up in Pics but I assure you guys they are there and Shoddy work indeed.

I bet tomorrow when I look in the boot it will be full of Water,It's bucketing down Rain and has been for hours and I bet that Tail Light is not sealed water tight now.

Should be out there getting your wet lap drift on son
