Lazy painters are really giving me the shits lately.

Swapped to a factory size scoop, bonnet was painted as one part, and they didn't even bother to prime the metal before fitting the scoop, im just glad it didn't rust through.

The car leaving bunnings belmont with a full length 5 meters ? of 12mm threaded rod placed through the back widow across the car.

Yes winding your windows up to secure the load was very smart.

As a follow on, department of transport is bringing in strict rules on tieing down loads. Essentially, all restraint methods will need to be Australian standards rachet straps or load rated ropes.

No more carrying some unknown rope to tie down loads ... This will also include simple trips to the tip with green waste etc.

Though I see the common sense of the legislation change, it just shows how many numptys there are out there.

Use to always tie down rubbish loads with rope 'albeit marine grade', and never had a problem.

Doing involuntary splits on gravel last night and today I am quite sure that I have pulled something.

Also heading out in my car to only hear the sounds of a flat tyre 50m down the road
