Not having a go, but would it not be in the brands interest make sure their customers get products which are actually project mu? If it were rebranded/slightly different or whatever why would they advertise that supplier as supplying project mu products??

The supplier could be getting the stuff designed for our market as well as other markets who he sells them to is upto him.

I can however tell Dukedrifter this: I did not sell you a non HC+ pad not made by PMu in Japan. Also, I did not sell you a comparable product. It is the same product.

Dukedrifter: Yes you are right. However the HC+ is the same product with no modification here for Oz.

The Club Spec however did and it can be bought cheaper in the US, which is the same identical product.

If the OP still wants to pursue a trial/crucification-by-forum approach to this complaint with all the associated legal (and maybe non legal) risks, I think posting a copy of the receipt would help... Otherwise taking it up with Consumer Protection would be a wiser choice.
