Ok, I've had a few people ask this so here's something I found on the net ages ago on how to do it;

Equipment.
- Paint:
VHT Brake Calliper paint is excellent, despite coming in limited colours.
Holts Dupli-colour (body touch up paint) comes in all colours and works a treat.
- Primer (metal primer)
- Silver paint for the hubs (optional)
- White paint for lettering (optional)

- Fine Tipped Brush
- Mineral Turpentine (for cleanup)
- Degreaser
- Dustpan Brush
- Sheet of medium Sandpaper
- Newspaper
- Hot water in a bucket, with sugar soap or dish washing liquid (not car wash)
- Trolley Jack
- Some bricks
- Version 6 STi, or other wrx of your choice

Step One - removing wheels
Loosen wheel nuts and then jack the body up and remove the wheels. Its easiest to do one end of the car at a time, borrow a trolley jack or a second jack if you can. You can also lift one side with the jack and then lower it onto bricks. (You can do this to the whole car if you're on a flat surface).

Step Two - Preparation.
It's very important to remove all oil and dirt from the callipers and hubs.
Coat the calliper in degreaser and allow to penetrate for a few minutes, then wash off with a high pressure hose. Thoroughly clean callipers and hubs with hot soapy water. A dustpan-brush is best for this as the long bristles reach into nooks and crannies. .
Rough or pre-painted callipers should also be sanded with medium grit sand paper.
Once they're clean & dry, get an old newspaper and cover the discs & hubs .. you can shove the newspaper in under the edges of the callipers and wrap it behind the discs so it stays in place.

Step Three - Primer
Apply an even coat. Leave to dry for 10 minutes.

Step Four - Top coat
Apply thin coats, the last thing you want is drips. Leave 20 minutes between coats. Three coats is usually sufficient.

Step Five (optional) - Fiddley bits
Lettering - If you're lucky enough to have 4 pots, the letters can be painted on with a small tipped brush. Its very fiddley but it comes up good if you take your time and apply a steady hand. This is a good job for your arty girlfriend to do.
Hubs - You can spray the hubs, but it is difficult to mask the discs neatly so a tin of paint and a brush is a better option.

Step Six - Clean up the disc.
Despite your best efforts with the newspaper you'll probably end up with some paint on the discs.
Turn the hub around, if its too stiff use a lever (broom handle works well).
Wet a rag with turps and wipe off any excess paint.

Step Seven - The end.
Put your wheels back on, lower the car, do up the nuts nice and tight, and step back and admire your handywork.

This is not my car, and I haven't tried to do this, but it looks straight forward enough.

Legal Dsiclaimer: I hereby give credit to whoever the guy/girl was who posted this on the internet from where I found it blah blah blah..

Cheers
Zombee

i need to redo the lettering on mine. I could only find high temp paint in spray packs, so for the lettering i sprayed it into a container and painted it on. it didnt quite set properly (even after a few days) and brake dust got into it. The rest of the calipers are perfect

I've done it twice. Did it on the car on my WRX and off the car on my Sil80. Off was far better outcome but obviously more work:

Phone camera pics don't do em justice....
