I ordered slimline polycarbs in the last week of Jan....
Still waiting !!!

And whilst we are ranting, Ill tell you all a pisser, I call the number, ask if a certain set of plates are available - YES - goto DPI Joondalup @ 430pm ( busy as all hell in there ) grab application form, go home & fill it out and return it the next day - only to be told they AREN'T available and have been taken over 3 years ago....

I was ropable - I had to leave work early to get to DPI to submit the form and pay for it only to have it all blow back in my face.

Rant over.

I've had two sets now and both took about 4 weeks or so.

I ordered a 3rd plate once, was told they were fine over the phone and when i went in to the licencing centre all was well.
About two weeks later i received a letter saying i couldn't have them because they were too similiar to a plate that was already taken. (I had changed a letter for a number) I complained as you see this all the time on plates but they said there was nothing they could do.

I ordered mine. Walked into welshpool 37 degree day 50 people in a que, walked right up to brenno, laughed at about 49 other people, made my plates got about 48 evil stares as if they wanted my blood whilst i walked out after 2 mins with a smile on my face. Was pretty funny.

Took 2 weeks, asked brenno, he said they were in, went in got them and 1 week later aparently i had to go in and grab them because the letter said they were ready....yeah...right :P

I wonder if the delay is any greater due to these ones being polycarb ??

My last set of aluminium plates were ready with a fortnight.....
