Get the badge off with a heat gun and a credit card.
Then, peel off all old double-sided tape and go to Bunnings and buy some of the really thin black heavy duty double-sided tape. It should work just as good as the original stuff. Thats how I stuck my grille badge on, and its been stuck on there for 4 years |

I have rolls of wafer thin double sided tape here at work, its the good stuff too. Use it for joins in sheet vinyl and it sticks like shit to a blanket. If anybody needs a bit PM me & feel free to drop in and grab some.
