Default Subs in Holden Ute.

I've got 2x12 inch sony subs kicking around gathering dust, they;re not worth much to sell so i thought i'd try fitting them into my WB for something to do.

I want to fit them in the rear firewall so the drivers are in the tray, and build a box around them. Only (so far) problem is, the rear wall is corrugated.

Does anyone know the best way to go about making this wall flush so the subs bolt down smoothly? I can only think of using Marine ply with a butt load of silicone, but thats rough as guts.

Has anyone seen this done or have any ideas?
Would get pics of the wall but the camera had a coronary.

I dont think it would be a good idea to cut such a large hole in the firewall.

you might be able to get them in behind the seats inside a small box.

No chance, both seats are hard up against the rear wall.
That wall isnt structural.

One piece of ply either side of the corrugations, put a bolt that goes through both pieces. The bolt will pull the two pieces of ply together, basically sandwiching the corrugated surface in between.

How about putting one Sub only between the two seats? In such a small cabin, One 12 should be sufficiently loud.

Thought about it, but i've got two, might as well use them =)
They were originally in my old Mazda bravo spacecab.
No such thing as sufficiently loud =)

Also 10's were a small option, ive got 2x10's in the WRX, so it was kind of an excuse to swap em out and wack some type X's in the WRX =) but then im still stuck with 2x12's.
