Default Factory Speaker Sizes MY07 ??

Thinking its about time i upgraded my factory stereo system..

Does anyone know what the sizes of the front and rear standard speakers are in the 06/07 WRX and if they are easy to replace.

Cheers

not sure about the WRX, but in my MY06 Hatch, I had 6" fronts with tweaters in the door handle, and 4" in the rear.

Altho it is possible to put 6.5" splits in the front without much hassle. Also speaker depth shouldnt be a problem in the rear, but in the front, maybe opt for a thinner style.

as above, i fitted 6 1/2's in there with no drama's. stock are 4 in the rear, but i would never buy rear speakers again unless youve got money to burn, better off investing in a better pair of fronts or amps

yeah i just had some shitty 4" in the back as rear fillers... couldn't actually hear them unless you had your head up against the door, just there to ad a bit of sound into the back seats when it was cranked.

Cheers guys, so you think i'm best leaving the rear speakers stock seeing they're so small?

What max depth do you think i can get in the fronts without having any issues?

just cap the stockers in the back, dont need them anyway.

I ran a kicker KS6.2 in my 06 with no problems, so find out the dimensions of those, and go from there.
