2DIN Head unit with GPS
Hey anyone in the car audio.... looking for options with 2 DIN head unit and hopefully something with built in GPS.
Done some net research and some very pricey units out there. Prefer not to be spending thousands upon thousands. Just sourcing at the moment as haven't actually secured new car yet. But if purchase does go through will want to replace the OEM single din deck with something like this. Let the feedback begin Cheers, Paul

in audio, you pay for wat u get.
Don't believe the Ebay ones saying support gps, those ones just have rca input and can be connected to a Gps device which has video out put and u can't actually use the touch screen to control it. or u can buy 2nd hand factory unit from overseas but you haven to upgrade your own map and they might come with other language. i've seen some gd merc ones with gps very cheap |

Paul, If I was you, I would buy a normal CD player, and a Tom Tom or Navman, its the most effective way to get the 2 things you want. Also, probably cheaper.
When companies try and integrate GPS into Double Din CD/MP3/DVD player's it becomes costly, and that cost is passed onto the consumer. |

Yeah have an appreciation for you get what you pay for. Just don't have a bottomless pit of cash to spend on audio.
Meat was that AVN 4000? I've seen the 6000 and 2210 but can't seem to track down the 4000. Any websites you can direct me to?

Either way I'll be looking for a 2 din system to replace the bodgey OEM single. See how I go once I've picked the car up.

LOL Nah I'm blessed there. My girl has awesome taste in music, plays it louder than I can handle and drives like a demon....
My problem is if I can't run to the car faster than her I miss out on driving lol...didn't mind so much before but new car is going to cause fights I think.
