Yeah that seems the best way which still leaves me boot space by bringing them a bit more forward i should be able to fit them side by side My wood skills are so doggy though lol

Yea mate like I said I'll give you a hand if you need. Getting all the bits you require should take just as long as putting it all together. Good glue, screws, beer, matching carpet, cables, beer, a big sheet or two of 1/2" MDF, some carboard to make a stencil from so you don't fcuk up perfectly good MDF, cable ties and the other sort with a nail in it (god knows what they're called), jigsaw, power drill................beer........

Yeah ill get some up. it isnt really any show stuff lol, I just wanted it practical and functional. so at the momment they are just mounted to a flat board. but it is flush just needs painting for carpeted.
