Default Fog Light Cover Install

Hey Guys,

I picked up a set of fog light covers and had them painted. How easy is the install to do? and what does it involve?

Cheers,
Troy

phillips head screw driver to remove lower corner outside screw on each side, fir bracket supplied and then put screw back. Once this is done, fit cover and put in allen screw or other fixig to hold in place (onto the bracket you have just fitted.

easy. take you about 5 minutes.

Sorry i should mention it's an 03. I was led to believe that you have to pull out the existing foglights and the mounting bracket, then they should clip in?

OK update for anyone intending on doing it. It's literally a two second job!

Firstly remove the existing fog light surrounds. To do so, there's two little clips on the centre of the car side, pop them out the basically pull the covers out.

Secondly, put the covers on! They clip back in, the same as the surrounds came out. No need to remove you fog lights either, they can stay right where they are. Small point i found however, when your clipping the covers in, you will find a clip on top of the cover. There's also a clip inside the bumper itself. Make sure the clip on the bumper goes under the cover not above it. Otherwise you will find you have a gap between the top of the foglight cover and the bumper.

If that ^^^ fails, they can be had genuine from Subaru. Can't remember the cost but it's a fair bit for each side. But they are genuine......
