Question Air-brushing Opinions/Advice Plz

Just took my centre gauge pod to get painted as close as possible to the dash, my mate has offered to do some air-brushing on it if I want at the same time.

He has done ghost flames with flake through it on a car before and it looked mint he has also air-brushed "rusted riveted panels" on a GTS but the actual design turned out well.
He can't do murals just designs.

Just wondering what you guys would do??

Leave it painted or go for some subtle ghost flames?? any other suggestions

Thanks in advance,

Daren

This is my opinion only...
Flames are only good for muscle cars, and muscle cars only.
Definately not jap cars. Or shirts.

THREAD HIJACK. Sorry Daren

i want to get some airbrushing done on my helmet that i use for the track, i have 2 questions:

1: Am i allowed to do this without screwing with the rating?

2: Where can i go to get it done?

Oh yeah, Daren just leave it the same colour as the dash....

want a really kick ass job done cheap!!!

go to thailand , i saw heaps of really cool air brushed helmets there , like amazing work and you can get custom jobs done of what ever

but you would have to go to thailand ... watch out for the lady boys haha

on the same not my farther in law is flying a thai guy over to air brush hsi hot rod soon haha , he is staying at his house and will have a shop and tools provided.
he is paying his flights and food and all that and a couple of hunder $'s on top witch is a massive amount for them , good deal both ways , and this guy has MAD skillz

technically no, i believe most helmets come with a note that says "do not paint or put stickers on helmets" or maybe thats just PPE helmets. but it doesn't stop most people
