i bought the last kit from AutoOne in Cannington last night... will give it a go on the weekend.

so steps to take:

wash, dry, clay, polish, wax?

is the polish neccessary?

depends on the polish..

I do wash, semi dry, clay, wash, dry, zaino Z2, P21S

I use Glare Professional Polish (recommended and bought from AutoFX Detailer). I'm going to buy Mother's Carnauba Wax to finish it off.

So you wash after you clay? Are you supposed to?

Yeah it removes any clay residue which may have been left on the paint.

Most that I've seen don't do it, but I'd say that if you coughed up the appropriate money, they'd spend the couple of hours required to do it properly. That's if they know how to do it in the first place of course!
