Default 05 Sti seats

Im prety tall 200cm, and am finding that my right leg is sitting kind of on top of the side of the seat and after a while it starts to dig in my leg(didnt get this in the classic rex seats), Just wondering what replacement race seat would be good for someone my size, I need one that can recline past the pillar because of my height.

cheers
Will.

Ive got 03/04 STI seats. I find them to be pretty wide. Im not quite 200cm, only 188cm. but I would prefer a tighter seat like the 01/02 WRX.

If you want to test mine out and swap, I would be open happy to do it. Mine have the blue suede cover so it will match the rest of the interior.

cheers for the offer, but I find the seats not tight enough either! its just like im sitting on top of the seat rather then in it, I would wanna upgrade to a a racing seat, like I have seen in a few Stis the Recaro Sti seats but in a recliner.

cheers
Will.

I've got a Sparco EVO L in my '06. It is excellent for track work and is comfortable for day to day driving including long trips....and I am a big bloke too.
It did take a lot of stuffing around to mount it low enough on sliders...I used the side mount STI RSR Recaro frame which was then modified by MMS.

My advice is to go and test sit as many seats as you can...eg at Revolution Racegear, Go Gear etc...

When you mount it, the trick is to get it nice & low. You can test sit mine if you want.
